Alex Hoffpauir

As an undergraduate, Alex was involved in a study assessing the viability of seeding as a restoration technique for Mead’s milkweed (a threatened, late-successional prairie plant). After graduation, she received an NSF-funded post-baccalaureate grant with the Bever/Schultz lab to study the effects of manipulated soil and plant diversity on the ecology of weeds. She is continuing this work as a graduate student with the lab.
