Research

Susan has broad research interests in evolutionary ecology and plant-microbe interactions. Her dissertation work focused on the role of rapid adaptation in recently restored plant populations. Her work in the Bever-Schultz lab focuses on the role that rhizobium communities play in determining the success of both native and invasive legumes in managed grasslands.
