Rebecca Cain

Becca has a strong interest in surface water quality and aquatic systems. During her time in Nebraska, she improved eutrophic ponds using wetland plants and chemical treatments to benefit ecosystems and neighborhoods. Becca’s research with ponds has broadened to involvement with lakes and streams in Kansas to study algae and zooplankton populations, lake sediments and lake nutrients.
