Biography —

Kayla worked as a technician in several scientific laboratories at Michigan State University from 2017 to 2019. After completing Ph.D. at KU in 2024, she took a postdoctoral researcher position at Penn State. She continues to collaborate with KU colleagues in the lab of Maggie Wagner.
