This article from the Miami County Republic newspaper (Kansas), refers to a project headed by Ted Harris, Kansas Biological Survey assistant research professor and assistant scientist, and his team to monitor Lake Miola, a City of Paola water body, throughout 2022 to better understand seasonal changes in water quality. The project is funded with a $25,000 grant from the City of Paola.
