KU Field Station: Calendar of events

Prof. Helen Alexander with a group from the KU Mini College.

The KU Field Station provides a serene setting for hiking and enjoying nature near Lawrence, Kansas—yet it is a hub of research and educational activity. KU faculty and staff in the sciences, arts, humanities and professional schools use the Field Station for research and teaching. In addition, many KU groups and some non-KU groups hold meetings, planning retreats and workshops at the Armitage Education Center.

To see a full calendar of Kansas Biological Survey events, many of which are Field Station activities (these are indicated as such), please see the Events box at right and select "All" after "View events."

If you are interested in using the KU Field Station for research, please contact Dean Kettle, 785-864-1540 or kettle@ku.edu. If you would like to schedule other educational activity or an event, please contact Scott Campbell, 785-864-1502 or swcamp@ku.edu.
