Kevin has been the Project Coordinator for the Survey's Kansas Urban Water Quality Restoration and Protection Initiative since 2000.

Research interests
Kevin's current research interests include the use of high-resolution satellite imagery to investigate the impacts of urban development on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, with an emphasis on the use of object-oriented image classification and hydrologic modeling. He also is interested in the development of real-time, integrated remote sensing, GIS and GPS systems to complement emergency management and disaster relief operations.
